I worked on the lines of her face, I sanded spots in the painting, I added scribbles, etchings, stampings, glazes, and words. I tried whatever I knew until I softened her hard edges
Just wanted to say too that I have really enjoyed reading back in your blog, and particularly your drawings. I think drawings and sketches are so much more individual than photos and I find them fascinating and exciting!
I agree that everybody's way of drawing people belongs only to them. You can't imitate another person's people!

Softening the edges really adds to it - I like it!!!
